Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Cyclz ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Cyclz is a menstrual cycle and contraceptive pill tracking application for iOS. It lets you log periods, predict ovulation and the fertile window, track a contraceptive pill pack with daily intake, record doctor visits and future appointments, and schedule local reminders. All data is stored locally on your device and optionally synced via your personal iCloud.

3. Medical Disclaimer

Cyclz is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. The predictions (cycle length, period length, ovulation, fertile window) are simple mathematical estimates based on the data you enter and the parameters you set - they are provided for informational purposes only.

Cyclz is not suitable as a contraception method. The fertile window indicator should never be used to avoid pregnancy. If you need reliable contraception, please consult a healthcare professional.

If you have any health concerns, atypical bleeding, or questions about your cycle, please consult a qualified healthcare professional. The App is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

4. License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on any Apple device you own or control, subject to these Terms and Apple's App Store Terms of Service.

5. User Responsibilities

When using Cyclz, you agree to:

• Use the App only for lawful purposes.
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Not use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the service.
• Back up your own data when appropriate (the App provides a JSON export).

6. User Content

You retain ownership of the data you enter into the App (profile, periods, packs, doctors, visits). You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter. By using iCloud sync, you agree to Apple's iCloud Terms and Conditions for the storage and synchronization of your data.

7. Advertising

Cyclz is free and supported by advertising provided by Google AdMob. By using the App, you acknowledge that ads will be displayed.

• For users in Europe, a GDPR consent form (Google UMP) is shown on first launch to manage ad preferences. You can change it anytime from Settings → Ad Preferences.
• For all users, ad personalization is also controlled by your App Tracking Transparency (ATT) choice on iOS.
• AdMob receives only device-level information (device model, iOS version, IDFA subject to ATT). Your profile, cycle, period, pill or medical data is never shared with advertisers.

We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements.

7b. Performance Monitoring (Firebase)

Cyclz uses Firebase Analytics (aggregate usage events), Firebase Crashlytics (anonymous crash reports) and Firebase Remote Config (remote management of ad parameters) — all provided by Google LLC. Firebase processes only generic device-level data; your cycle, period, pill, doctor, appointment or profile data is never sent to Firebase. No user account is required. 8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and code, is owned by Cyclz and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App.

9. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with the following third-party services:

• iCloud (CloudKit): subject to Apple iCloud Terms and Conditions.
• App Store: subject to Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
• Google AdMob (banner, interstitial, App Open ads): subject to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
• Google User Messaging Platform (UMP): handles GDPR consent and Apple App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompts.
• Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config): subject to Firebase Terms of Service.
• Apple SKAdNetwork: privacy-preserving ad attribution framework.

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of these third-party services.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The App will meet your requirements.
• The App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
• Notifications will always be delivered on time (delivery depends on iOS and is not guaranteed).
• Predictions will match your actual cycle (they are statistical estimates).
• Any errors in the App will be corrected.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL CYCLZ BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:

• Your use or inability to use the App.
• Missed notifications or reminders.
• Reliance on predictions (cycle, ovulation, fertile window) for any medical or contraceptive decision.
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data on your device or iCloud.
• Any third-party conduct or content, including advertisements.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cyclz from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the App.

You may terminate your use at any time by deleting the App from your device.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by:

• Updating the "Last updated" date.
• Posting notice in the App or App Store update notes.

Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Cyclz regarding the use of the App.
